Hey there!

The wait is finally over. Conspar Web Site 2.0 is alive! It is more in tune with the times, practical, improved in all aspects, and more fabulous!

With the user experience, SEO competence, and brand identity kept in mind, Conspar Web Site 2.0 was developed and built in-house on the Wix Studio platform by our marketing team. Today, we wanted to share the story behind it, but before diving into Conspar Web Site 2.0, let's take a moment to salute Conspar Web Site 1.0 by telling it.

Conspar Web Site 1.0: Our Sprouting Phase

Conspar Web 1.0 was built on the Wix Editor platform. At the time, we faced some problems with our web agency, which was developing our websites. We were not getting a return on investment by any means. It came to such a point that our Marketing Director was designing U.I. and sharing it with the agency. We ended up canceling the contract with them.

After a couple more outsourcing attempts from different agencies, which didn't go well, our

management took a risk and decided to create an in-house web presence since we needed a solution that our team could develop and build fast.

The problem was that no one on our team was experienced enough to build a website from scratch since no one had programming, software, or I.T. backgrounds. We researched online website-building platforms and examined brands like WIX, WordPress, Opencart, Ticimax, T-soft, and more to find the most suitable platform for our needs. The WIX was chosen after a while as our first platform because of its easy-to-build features despite the limitations in terms of responsiveness.

The plan was simple: Using WIX Editor to build a website quickly, launch it, and learn how to make another website on the Editor X platform, which was another product of WIX at the time that had outstanding responsiveness capacity yet was way more complicated to use.

The crisis was also an opportunity for the future. One of our goals was to gain web build skills to create websites in-house to be established in the long term while optimizing the benefit/cost balance without being dependent on outsourcing.

Conspar Web Site 2.0: Time to rise!

It is beneficial to learn about our products to understand clearly why we need improvement. We offer a comprehensive inventory globally. It has hundreds of types of concrete equipment and spare parts that count as 5 main product categories, 27 subcategories, and over 1000 products to offer as follows:

• Spare Parts for Concrete Pumps

We supply for concrete pump manufacturer brands Putzmeister, Schwing, Zoomlion, CIFA, and Sermac

• Concrete Mixer Spare Parts

Our range inlcudes spare parts for global Mixer Brands such as SIMEM, MEKA, CM

Costruzioni Meccaniche, SICOMA, IME Batching Plants

• Bulk Handling Equipment and Silo Equipment by WAM Group

• Genuine Concrete mixer machinery from SICOMA and C.M. Srl,

• Batching plants will soon be added for concrete batching.

Conspar is becoming a global player daily with the target of "being the most holistic supply-chain platform ever for the building and construction industry." Thus, it is a reality that we will be adding more products to our product range for more global markets. When we look at that reality, several basic qualifications should be established on our website:

• A better base for more products to be hosted in,

• User experience-focused interface makes the user find and/or filter the items quickly. This is also

a point in our sector that needs to be improved. Only a few rival brands do it properly.

• An adequate SEO infrastructure to reach people globally and/or to be found,

• More agile and faster response times,

• Improved mobile structure and user experience.

All these factors could only be established if there is advanced responsiveness. It is the key and the one prominent point we wanted to change on the Conspar 1.0 website since the Wix Editor isn't fully responsive.

The Wix Editor is easy to use and fast to build with many pre-maid design themes. You can even create a fully functioning and globally operating e-commerce website through it, including multi- language features, shipping features, payment acceptance features, and more. There is also a helpful customer assistance team whenever you are stuck with something.

However, it has severe responsiveness limitations, mainly affecting the designs you want to make and mobile performance since it is not fully responsive, which hurts SEO performance.

Why the responsiveness was our concern?

It was vital since responsiveness is more than merely an aspect of design aesthetics or user

convenience. It's an integral component of SEO strategy. In a digital landscape increasingly

dominated by mobile usage, the significance of a responsive website cannot be overstated. Because of the following realities about responsiveness, an improvement was needed.

• Responsiveness: More than just a buzzword

Responsiveness isn't just a buzzword; it's an essential aspect of a website that contributes to user satisfaction. It refers to a website's ability to adjust smoothly to different screen sizes of devices, including desktop monitors, tablets, and smartphones, to offer an optimal viewing experience. A mobile-friendly website guarantees easy accessibility and navigation for users on any device.

Summary: This adaptability isn't merely a convenienceit's a significant factor in SEO

rankings. It was a bit of a dull point for Conspar Web 1.0 on WIX Editor since it is not fully responsive, especially for mobile devices, hurting SEO Optimization and SEO abilities.

• The relation of responsiveness with search engines

With Google leading the charge, search engines have unequivocally stated that mobile-friendliness is a ranking signal, and Google updates it continuously. This shift towards mobile-first indexing underscores the importance of responsiveness. The responsiveness aligns with Google's Page Experience signals, a collection of measurements assessing user perceptions and their interaction with a web page. A responsive website is inherently designed to score well on these metrics, boosting its search engine optimization rankings. It's not just about viewing a website on a mobile device; it's about offering an optimal experience across all platforms. Because search engines provide users with the best possible results, a site that's difficult to navigate on a phone is hardly the best result by any standard.

Summary: In the older version of our website, we could not design positive elements in the ways we wanted. It affected our design implementations, leading to a mediocre U.I. experience.

• Responsiveness is essential when we talk about SEO for construction companies.

Responsive design impacts SEO capabilities in several critical ways. First, it improves usability. Websites that adapt to the viewer's device facilitate more effortless reading and navigation, significantly reducing the likelihood of frustration and site abandonment. Second, responsive sites have one URL and the same HTML across devices, making it easier for search engines to crawl and index content. This unity eliminates the potential confusion caused by having separate mobile and desktop site versions, which can dilute search engine authority and lead to lower rankings.

Moreover, responsiveness directly affects page loading times—a vital SEO ranking factor. Mobile users expect quick access to information. A site that loads swiftly on mobile devices meets this expectation, contributing positively to its search engine ranking.

Summary: Having a mobile design without limitations was another issue for us on Conspar Web Site 1.0. Google is quite strict about mobile experience and prioritizes having higher rankings for those websites with smooth mobile experience.

Based on the mentioned reasons, it was the time to use the newest ground-breaking platform, WIX Studio.

What are the developments on Conspar Web Site 2.0?

The most significant change is shifting the platform from WiX Editor to WIX Studio, formerly The Editor X. The WIX Studio is responsive, automatically adjusting to look great on any device, a standard expectation for modern web design. It enabled us to eliminate the missing points of Conspar Web 1.0 by allowing us to design fully responsive websites and made us the following gains:

• A Better U.I. Interface:

The new user interface gives users more options and alternative ways to seek items faster. We examined the world's leading brands, such as Amazon, Apple, Huawei, Ferrari, and local e-commerce web platforms Hepsiburada, Trendyol, and N11.com, to get information about how they did it before shaping our U.I. By the way, if you do not have Apple Vision Pro, you must still make few clicks on the mouse. C'Mon! Exercise the fingers a little.

Whether you are looking for a "concrete pump," "concrete mixer," or specific "concrete mixer spare parts," our new site will allow you to quickly find what you are looking for in a way that is unique in our industry. Our perspective has permanently evolved; you will feel this difference on our website.

• Refreshed Aesthetics:

We prioritized usability, functionality, and simplicity when redesigning the website interface. The new design is more sleek and flat, enabling users to use the website more comfortably. The eyes are more comfortable since more refined positioning items and softer color tones exist.

Top-notch responsiveness

The new structure enables different variations of our U.I. for other devices. We can now make a completely different U.I. for mobile devices while keeping the original version of U.I. for desktop devices when needed. This will help us improve SEO rankings since there will be a smoother mobile experience.

What is next?

We recently started gaining experience on WIX Studio and have already discovered some margins for development. For instance, focusing on visual appeal and aesthetics can compromise the loading speed on WIX Studio, which is our current task.

We will continue to improve it for the long term until the time comes to launch Conspar Web 3.0.
